Terms of Sale

These terms apply when you buy a course or a subscription from Meridian CPD, or claim a free course. Please read them with our refunds and cancellations page and our privacy policy.
Who we are
Meridian CPD is a trading name of FistralAI Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17091704, registered office 16 Polkerris, Par, PL24 2TL, United Kingdom. Email hello@meridiancpd.co.uk.
What you are buying
A single course (£19.99). One course as a downloadable PDF, available in My CPD, and a CPD certificate for that course once you mark it complete.
An annual subscription (£79 a year). Every course in our library for as long as your subscription is active, including courses we add during that time, and a certificate for each course you complete. The subscription renews automatically each year and you are charged on the renewal date unless you cancel before it. If the price is going to change, we will tell you by email before your renewal.
A free course. Where we offer a course free, for example with a promotional code, these terms apply to it in the same way.
Prices are in pounds sterling. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see your card details.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time in My CPD using Manage or cancel subscription, or by emailing us. You will not be charged again, and you keep access until the end of the year you have paid for. After that, any course you bought separately, downloaded or completed stays in your My CPD, and your certificates remain valid. See refunds and cancellations for when we give refunds.
Certificates
We issue a certificate when you confirm you have read and completed a course. It records your name, the course, the CPD hours and the date, and anyone with its number can check it on our verification page. If a certificate is issued in error, for example for a course that was not bought, we may cancel it.
Meridian CPD is an independent CPD provider. Whether your accreditation body or scheme accepts our CPD hours is for that body to decide.
Course content
Our courses are written from published primary sources, such as conventions, standards, legislation and official guidance, and each shows the date it was published or revised. Standards and scheme rules change, so in your work always follow the current official documents and your scheme's instructions. Our courses are training material and do not replace them.
If you think something in a course is wrong or out of date, please tell us. We check it against the source and correct the course if needed.
Using the material
Courses are for your own professional development. Please do not share, copy, resell or publish them. The content is © Meridian CPD and protected by copyright.
Our responsibility to you
If a course is faulty or not as described, we will fix it, replace it or refund you. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
If you buy for your business, we are not liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If you buy as a consumer, these terms do not affect your legal rights.
Changes and law
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you buy applies to that purchase; for a subscription, the version in force at your renewal applies to the next year. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although a consumer may also bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where they live.
